Fancy a different day out? Bring the family to the Forest of Dean this summer and experience a unique ovine extravaganza - SheepScape.

Artists and schoolchildren from across the Forest have been hard at work for months creating a unique flock of life-size fibreglass sheep. Called SheepScape, it is an exciting, creative, community activity that has brought schoolchildren and artists together in an engaging and educational environment. It will add a colourful and attention-grabbing dimension to the Forest of Dean this summer.

You will find this fun and thought-provoking exhibition touring festivals and events during the summer months of 2007 and appearing in tourist attractions and town centres. A list of venues can be found on the events page.

So make an unforgettable trip to the Forest of Dean this summer and spend some time with these amazing creatures - they won't bite and it's free!!

In young enterprise in enrichment at Lakers School, a group of us have been working with professionals to get this website to the high standard it’s at now. We have been working on the design of the website with two professionals John and James from i2in. We have done things like scanning the sheep images in, typing pieces on to the website, we looked at other websites to get ideas on different layouts for our websites and much much more. In the beginning we got all our ideas together for the website like sheep games and the visual sheep game which is on the website now and lots more. We decided how to prioritise our ideas as we had deadlines to meet. A big thank you to Ros Daniels and Air in G who brought this opportunity to Lakers School and worked with us. Also thanks to Mrs Cilla James for all her hard work on this project.
